Vision Problem: Bilateral Keratoconus

Dr. Angelo Appiotti performed Cross Linking surgery to treat an initial keratoconus. Daniele’s vision was misaligned due to this condition and caused him serious problems with light fields and depth at high speed. The treatment helped to stop the progression of the disease. After surgery, the athlete has now only slight astigmatism that does not affect his professional career.
