Dr. Angelo Appiotti performed LASIK surgery with the aid of the PSP (Personal Sportsman Profile) programme, that he devised for all professional athletes to improve one’s vision and, most importantly, make it more stable, accurate and faster at every change in distance and light.
Surgery corrected the athlete’s high hyperopia in both eyes: this significantly improved Marco’s performance and postural balance, thus allowing him to eliminate contact lenses permanently.
The final result was 12/10 natural visual acuity: more than 5 dioptres of hyperopia were corrected.
