Vision problem: Myopia and astigmatism
Surgery: FemtoLASIK and PSP Programme
Dr. Angelo Appiotti performed FemtoLASIK surgery with the aid of the PSP (Personal Sportsman Profile) programme, that he devised for all professional athletes to improve one’s vision and, most importantly, make it more stable, accurate and faster at every change in distance and light.
Surgery was needed to correct 0.75 dioptres of myopia with 0.50 dioptres of astigmatism in his right eye, and 0.75 dioptres of myopia with astigmatism in his left eye.
Recovery was fast and Pietro immediately saw a massive improvement in clarity and overall quality of vision, which will have a positive impact on his posture and future sports performance.
The final result was 10/10 natural visual acuity.
