Vision problem: Compound myopic astigmatism
Surgery: FemtoLASIK and PSP Programme
Dr. Angelo Appiotti performed FemtoLASIK surgery with the aid of the PSP (Personal Sportsman Profile) programme, that he devised for all professional athletes to improve one’s vision and, most importantly, make it more stable, accurate and faster at every change in distance and light.
Andrea had compound myopic astigmatism in both eyes. After surgery, he could finally stop wearing contact lenses, which had become a nuisance, especially for a high-ranking athlete like him.
The final result was 18/10 natural visual acuity.
