Vision problem: Myopia and astigmatism
Surgery: PRK and PSP Programme
Dr. Angelo Appiotti performed PRK surgery with the aid of the PSP (Personal Sportsman Profile) programme, that he devised for all professional athletes to improve one’s vision and, most importantly, make it more stable, accurate and faster at any change in distance and light.
Surgery was needed to correct both myopia and astigmatism: Fabrizio did no longer tolerate contact lenses, which were impairing his sports performance.
The final result was 18/10 natural visual acuity.
